2009 proved to be quite a challenging year for many of us. In the Chinese calendar, 2009 was the year of the Ox, depicting hard work. It is said that if you stay focused and work hard in the Ox year, you will see many fruitful rewards in the years to come.

Hello Fellow Riders on the Storm. Winter is here in full force - escorted my
Mars retrograde in Leo until March 10, 2010. Mercury is retrograde from
Dec. 26 - Jan. 15th. And to top it off Saturn turns retrograde on Jan 13th
in Libra, backing up to 27 degrees Virgo on May 30th. Translated - Mars
only runs retrograde once every two and a half years so when he turns inward
we can expect a time of frustrated action, but also a time to re- access our
outward actions, on an inward level. In Leo, this means that we all need to
take a look inside and re-discover those unexpressed or hidden talents and
creative ideas that have been left in the dark.
With Mercury retrograde in Capricorn we can take the time to come up with
concrete plans and means to express our newly re-discovered creative desires
and actions - preparing to manifest these once Mercury and Mars turn direct.
Add a little back-tracking by Saturn in Libra and we may find that our
relationships need a bit of refinement and re-adjusting as well, especially
as it relates to supporting and manifesting the creative endeavors that we
are planning to put into action.
