"Today I was blessed with not only a 90 minute vacation, but treated like a princess within my allowances. My appointment was for the Shirodhara Abhayanga and my therapist was Kayla. I was welcomed with pleasant greetings, yummy tea and a simple tongue analysis that started my treatment with a wonderful comfort and understanding that allowed me to really let go and absorb the benefits of the experience. Afterwards I felt rejuvenated, relaxed and very, very peaceful after careful attention was provided by Kayla in honor of my pita/vata imbalances. I thoroughly LOVED the stream of warm, herbalized oil poured on my forehead and massaged into my scalp/hair and face... infact, I received several comments the days following about the shine in my hair and glow to my face. I believe the mini facial plays a part in how beautiful my face was for days- however, I really loved the Shirodhara! The Swedana, a medicated steam tent that aids in detoxification and relaxation, was a perfect ending to the utmost awesome treatment.... and a wonderful feeling before returning to the outside world!
