Amelia - Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbologist, Esthetician...
Amelia Vargas is a Colorado Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbologist, Licensed Esthetician, Acutonics Practitioner, and a Craniosacral Practitioner. She specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Skin Care. She is Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Amelia earned a BA in Medical Anthropology at Hawaii Pacific University, and her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from South West Acupuncture College in Boulder Colorado. This four year program consisted of 3000 educational hours including 1095 hours of clinical practice. She is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado. Ameliaʼs training also includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, tui na, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. Additionally, she holds certificates and specialized training in Facial Rejuvenation acupuncture, Constitutional Facial Renewal Acupuncture, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kototama Japanese style acupuncture, Acutonics�, Facial Soundscapes: Harmonic Renewal and Craniosacral. As an Esthetician, she has always taken a holistic approach to skin care, with the philosophy that "Outer beauty is a manifestation of inner health." Now she uses her chinese medicine background to diagnose various skin conditions and to treat them with a combination of organic skin care products, dietary and lifestyle recommendations and chinese herbs. During her personal time, Amelia enjoys Latin dancing, singing, practicing yoga, collaging, and spending time with her wonderful husband and son.
