In this healing ritual, warm stones are placed on energy points to help absorb trapped energy and replace positive energy. Warm stones are then used in a rhythmic massage sequence to help "melt" the muscles so that you are able to receive a soothing, therapeutic massage and to bring the body to a balanced, relaxed state.

Therapeutic and corrective massage provides relief from acute or chronic patterns of tension, aches and pains. As a result, tension is released, allowing blood and oxygen to circulate properly. Choose from Deep Swedish or Therapeutic.

Deep Swedish: This deeply relaxing full body massage uses swedish techniques of effleurage (long strokes), petrissage (kneading), friction (circular pressure/deeper strokes), and may include vibration and percussive tapping with the hands, and joint movements. Choose our deep swedish if you are looking for a full-body relaxing experience with deeper pressure throughout.

Therapeutic/Muscle Specific: Therapeutic massage will include focus on postural issues, specific injury areas, muscle-specific release with the goal to relieve chronic or acute pain, post-surgery recovery, increase range-of-motion, or for clients who simply enjoy muscle-specific therapeutic massage as opposed to relaxation or deep swedish massage. Techniques may include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular, or orthopedic massage. One hour can focus in a problem area and some postural work. For clients who enjoy a deep therapeutic treatment and still want to relax with a full body massage, we recommend at least 90 minutes.
